Cold and Flu
Winter season is around the corner and along with that comes cold and flu season. I thought it would be a good idea to remind you about some proactive cleaning tips to help reduce the spread of viruses and bacteria along with a reminder about some resources available to help.
Touch Point Cleaning Basics
A basic approach to cleaning to reduce the spread of viruses and bacteria that focuses on items most commonly touched such as: desktops, chairs, door knobs/push bars, door jambs, computer keyboards, water fountains/bubblers, faucets, toilet handles, light switches, counter tops and electronics.
• Use an approved disinfectant
• Let disinfectant “dwell” on surfaces before drying
• Inexpensive bleach disinfectant: 1/3 c. of bleach to 1 gallon of water
• Wipe commonly used areas at least once per day
