The layers of mold

Lets say it is 7 PM Saturday night and you go into the laundry room to switch the loads, when suddenly you step in a pool of hot water. This is clearly going to be chaotic. However, that is not the worst of your worries. Mold loves to grow in warm and humid areas. Sure, anyone can clean up some water off the floor but what about all the layers that could later be affected with mold?

- Insulation
- Interior Area
- Drywall
- Baseboards
- Carpet
- Carpet Padding
- Bottom wall plate
- Subfloor
- Floor Joist
- Sill Plate
- Basement
- Foundation
